INK COMPOSITION FOR WATER-BASED PROTECTIVE LAYER, AND THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material with excellent shelf life and head matchability by using a coating liquid for a protective layer after improving the property and workability of the coating liquid to be applied onto a thermal color-developing layer.

SOLUTION: Colloidal amorphous silica, a higher fatty acid metal salt, a hydrophobic polymer emulsion and acetoacetylated polyvinyl alcohol are contained as essential components in an ink composition for a water-based protective layer, which is used for the thermal recording material.
