<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a developer supply device that supplies developer via a developer transport path wherein, when necessary warning is provided on the basis of information on the amount of operation of the developer supply device, correct warning that almost matches the actual amount of developer remaining in a developer container can be provided regardless of the operation of filling the developer transport path. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with a control means which controls the developer supply device so that the device performs, at a required moment, the operation of filling the developer transport path with developer supplied from a developer container, and further controls a storage means so that the value obtained by adding a specific correction value to the amount of operation performed during the filling operation of the developer supply device is stored in the storage means as the amount of filling operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
