<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal generating apparatus which enhances delay accuracy and generates a Rayleigh fading-applied false signal with good accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The signal generating apparatus is provided with: a signal generator for generating a complex signal; a branch circuit for duplicating the complex signal to generate a plurality of complex signals; a plurality of delay sections for receiving the complex signals, respectively, controlling a signal level for the phase of each received complex signal to generate delay signals formed by delaying each of the received complex signals by a predetermined amount of delay; a plurality of Rayleigh modulation sections which are provided corresponding to the plurality of delay sections and receive the delay signals generated by the corresponding delay sections to generate modulation signals formed by applying Rayleigh modulation to the received delay signals; and a combination circuit for combining the plurality of modulation signals generated by the plurality of Rayleigh modulation sections to generate a signal to be received by a receiver when the complex signals are transmitted through Rayleigh fading transmission paths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
