<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mount type piezoelectric oscillator with a stable oscillation output and excellent mountability, that less affects operations of other electronic components. <P>SOLUTION: The surface mount type piezoelectric oscillator 10 is configured such that a crystal vibrating element 2 is mounted on an upper side of a base 1, a recessed part 4 containing an IC element 3 for controlling an oscillation output on the basis of the vibration of the crystal vibrating element 2 is formed to a lower side of the base 1, and a sealing member for covering the IC element 3 is filled in the recessed part 4. The sealing member is formed by stacking three resin layers or over including a first insulating resin layer 5a for coating the surface of the IC element 3 deposited to the bottom side of the recessed part 4, a second insulating resin layer 5b deposited at an opening side of the recessed part 4, and a conductive resin layer 6 located between the first and second insulating resin layers 5a, 5b. Further, the volume resistivity of the conductive resin layer 6 is selected to be preferably 10<SP>4</SP>Ω-m or below, and the volume resistivity of the first and second insulating resin layers 5a, 5b is preferably selected to be 10<SP>13</SP>Ω-m or over. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
