PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the common use of a mold and ancillary fittings. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a vehicle interior trim member 11 structured of a base material 20, a facing material 22 and a decorative material 24 to be laminated on the surface of the facing 22, a release material 26 with almost the same thickness as the decorative material 24 is releasably laminated beforehand on the surface of the facing 22. Then the facing 22 on the surface of which the release material 26 is laminated and the base material 20 are molded.
