摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally switch between a stratified combustion and a homogeneous combustion according to the operating state of an engine by maximally making use of the merit of the injection of high-pressure fuel. SOLUTION: This fuel supply system of a CNG engine comprises an injector 17, a delivery pipe 13, and a pressure sensor 13a detecting pressure in the delivery pipe 13, and is formed to be switchable between the stratified combustion and the homogeneous combustion. A pressure reduction system (high-pressure regulator) for reducing the pressure of the CNG fuel is eliminated from a fuel supply line 14 and, based on the pressure in the delivery pipe 13, a pre-determined combustion map area is selected and, based on a control method pre-determined in the combustion map area, combustion is switched between the stratified combustion and the homogeneous combustion.
