PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for repairing a pulley lining for repairing the surface of worn part of a pulley lining into a smooth condition in a simple manner and in a shorter period of time without stripping the existing lining when repairing the pulley lining. SOLUTION: A squeezing roller 12 is brought into close contact with a pulley 1 by winding a wire 16 and a lining material 22 in an indeterminate form is filled between a sheet 19 fed between a pulley 1 and a squeezing roller 12 and a lining lacking part 4 of the pulley 1 while rotating the pulley 1 by an operation of wrench 14.
