WASTE PAPER LEVELING APPARATUS FOR SHREDDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste paper leveling apparatus for a shredder with a low noise level capable of coping with continuous throwing of a large amount of waste paper sheets without making the shredder large. SOLUTION: The horizontal state of a scraper assembly 14 horizontally arranged with a plurality of scrapers 13 at intervals each other is retained, and the scraper assembly 14 is revolved along a track of a circle formed in a vertical plane parallel to the arrangement direction of the scraper 13. The waste paper 10 collectively deposited under a cutter mechanism 7 is certainly pressed/retreated toward a dead space 11 utilizing revolution motion of the scraper 13 along the circular track corresponding to a lower half of the track of the circle. Reduction of the noise and enhancement of conveying ability of the waste paper 10 are made compatible only by utilizing a rotation mechanism and by imparting the motion analogous to linear feeding to a large number of scrapers 13 at an installation space limited in the vertical height.
