The invention relates to a vehicle designed to travel back and forth and rotates by driving the right and left wheels in response to the position of center of gravity of an occupant on a step board moving from the center of the vehicle base. A vehicle steerable by the movement of center of gravity comprises at least a left wheel (4L) and a right wheel (4R) which are disposed on the same axis, a first drive motor (5L) and a second drive motor (5R) for rotationally driving the left and right wheels (4L, 4R), a vehicle base (2) having the left and right wheels disposed on the left and right sides thereof and having the first and second drive motors mounted thereon, a step board (3) disposed above the vehicle base (2) and adapted for a person to be mounted thereof, pressure sensors (6L, 6R, 7L, 7R) interposed between the vehicle base and the step board for detecting the movement of the center of gravity of the occupant, and a drive control means (10) for drive-controlling the first and second drive motors to effect straight travel and /or rotary movement on the basis of the detection signals from the pressure sensors. According to the invention, a mere body weight movement is enough to cause longitudinal travel and clockwise and counterclockwise rotations. |
