The invention relates to a base module for a plurality of sensor units. Said base module is suitable at least for assembling a sensor unit to be arranged on a motor vehicle window and also for assembling a sensor unit to be arranged in the ventilation channel of a motor vehicle. Said base module consists of a housing (1) that is defined on the front side thereof by a plane carrier element (2) on which at least one humidity sensor element (3) and a temperature sensor element (8) are arranged.
