PURPOSE: A top-down movable weir is provided to improve discharge capacity of a movable weir in flood, and to promote precise and convenient construction and to secure the stability on operation by modulating a movable weir. CONSTITUTION: The top-down movable weir controls the water level of the upper stream by opening and shutting a water gate(210) installed to an outfall(120) of a main weir body(100), wherein a water gate module(200) is installed on the outfall(120) and composed of a rectangular water gate(210) and a housing(220) which houses the descent water gate(210) and is laid under the main weir body(100) under the outfall(120), a hydraulic cylinder connected with a hydraulic hose is installed to the inside of the housing(220) and a hydraulic hose is connected to the outside of a housing(220) through a hydraulic pipe(222), and a piston rod of a hydraulic cylinder is connected to the inner front of a water gate(210) and reciprocated vertically to lift up and down the water gate(210). |
