<p>It is intended to provide a human laminin 5B protein consisting of alpha3B chain, beta3 chain and gamma2 chain subunits. The alpha3B chain has the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:2 or an amino acid sequence derived from this sequence by deletion, addition or substitution of one or more amino acid residues, the beta3 chain has the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:4 or an amino acid sequence derived from this sequence by deletion, addition or substitution of one or more amino acid residues, and the gamma2 chain has the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:6 or an amino acid sequence derived from this sequence by deletion, addition or substitution of one or more amino acid residues. The above-described laminin 5B has activities of promoting cell growth, promoting cell adhesion, promoting cell movements and promoting neurite extension.</p> |
