INSPECTING METHOD OF LEAD STORAGE BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To estimate a deterioration of battery in a short time by impressing an AC voltage on the lead storage battery by a frequency responding device and performing a calculation based on AC voltage components and AC current components generated at that time. CONSTITUTION:The AC voltage of + or -10mv in the frequency range of 1mHz-1 KHz is impressed on the battery 1 in the completely charged state through a potentiostat 2 and the response is inputted to a computer 4 through the frequency responding device 3. Then, the deterioration of capacity during the storage of the battery is is estimated from the change of internal impedances of the real number and imaginary number pats which are obtained by the calculation. Thus, the deterioration of battery can be nondistructively estimated in a short time.
