The method involves unlocking by exerting pressure on the movable element (1) towards the locking device (2) to move it out of a locking position, remove the interaction between the movable element and the locking element and actuate a switching element (11). This moves the locking element to a position in which locking is not renewed by a reverse movement of the movable element and friction and shear forces are minimized. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a locking arrangement for a moving element, especially a flap or drawer; and (b) a closure arrangement.
