The surface is made from shredded synthetic rubber, especially obtained from waste rubber extrusions used in the motor vehicle industry, containing no reinforcement. It is applied, for example, in layers having different particle sizes: a top layer (11) between one and five millimetres thick with particles of 1 - 4 mm, a bottom layer (21) 30 - 40 mm thick made from particles measuring 4 - 16 mm, and an intermediate layer (22) 10 - 15 mm thick of 1 - 4 mm particles. The bottom and intermediate layers can be made from rubber particles mixed with sand.
