<p>The invention relates to a method comprising: a step for dispersion of cut filaments and discontinuous fibres of PVOH in an aqueous process liquor, then a formation step for a bed in a formation device by passage of the dispersion over a formation cloth, through which the aqueous process liquor is drained, the filaments and fibres being retained on said cloth, then a thermal treatment step in a curing device. The PVOH fibres give a degree of resistance to the fibre bed in formation. The method provides a veil with a very high degree of tensile strength for a low level of binding agents.</p> |
