The industrial truck, and especially a fork lift truck, has a hydraulic lifting device in the form of a lift cylinder and piston installed between the running gear and top of the lifting platform. A supply reservoir is connected to a hydraulic pump installed on a support to the side of the cylinder. The supply reservoir (21) is installed above the support (18) between the pump (11) and lifting device (9). Yokes (19a,19b) are fastened on both sides of the support, and a towing bar (10) is pivotably mounted on the upper ends of the yokes. The yokes enclose the supply reservoir on both sides.
