<p>PURPOSE:To clearly display contents while limiting a pattern display area only to graphic display, to simultaneously display various information to be recognized based on the position of a cursor at real time corresponding to the movement of the cursor, further to reduce man-hour and to prevent error from being generated by simplifying operations and improving operability concerning the information display method for a graphic editor. CONSTITUTION:On the screen of a display 5, a layout picture 10 and a character information display area 11 are formed, and in the layout picture 10, the layout drawing of a semiconductor chip 12 composed of only the graphic display is displayed. Then, the various information to be recognized based on the position of a cursor 13 in the layout picture 10 is calculated corresponding to the movement of the cursor 13, and the characters of the calculated various information are displayed in the character information display area 11.</p> |
