<p>PURPOSE: To form an image having satisfactory image density and resistance to fog, excellent in gradation and free from image defects such as streaks by incorporating toner particles and plural kinds of inorg. fine powders each having a specified particle size distribution and a specified bulk density. CONSTITUTION: This toner contains toner particles contg. a resin and a colorant and two or more kinds of inorg. fine powders each having a specified particle size distribution measured by a dry measuring method by laser beam diffraction and <=200g/λbulk density. The particle size distribution has a main peak in a range of <=20μm and no peak in a range of >=100μm. The inorg. fine powders are different from each other in kind, particle size distribution, specific surface area, resistance, bulk specific gravity, etc., or have been treated with different surface treating agents. Each of the inorg. fine powders preferably has >=20m<2> /g specific surface area by a nitrogen adsorption method. This toner stabilizes an image and image quality, scatters hardly in a coping machine and is excellent in durability even in the case of repetitive copying and it does not cake and enables stable replenishment even after storage at a high temp. for a long time.</p> |
