摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a non-invasive measurement method of blood wave pulse characteristic in arteries compressible from body surface by means of an adherent elastic membrane and a differential pressure sensor. The invention is characterized in that changes in artery volume caused by propagation of blast wave during blood flow and taken up by a measuring probe detection membrane that is attached to a palpation point, are transformed through the mediation of a liquid to pressure changes that are in turn compared with a set equalizing pressure being determined in dependence on measured blood pressure of the person under examination. The obtained data relating to volume pulses are subsequently transmitted for evaluation and computer processing with output on a screen of a personal computer. Apparatus for making the above described method is characterized in that it is comprised of a differential pressure sensor (1) that is connected to a voltage source (2), positive input (101) thereof is parallel-connected to a measuring probe (3) with a detection membrane (31) and a control pressure source (4) provided at its inlet with a pressure-tight closure (42) wherein said differential pressure sensor (1) negative input (102) is connected to a pressure compensating source (5). Said differential pressure sensor (1) output (103) is connected to an evaluation and control unit (6).</p>
