PURPOSE:To obtain uniform treatment regardless of the loading position or direction of a treated object and improve treatment efficiency by providing rotating or reverse- swaying spray sections on the outer periphery of the treated object loaded in a vertical or longitudinal thermal sterilizing tank, and spraying a heating fluid such as hot water or steam or cooling water. CONSTITUTION:A vertical or longitudinal thermal sterilizing tank 1 is installed with its opening section faced upward, and spray sections 2 are extended over nearly the whole length of the thermal sterilizing tank 1 and have multiple nozzle holes 3. Two spray sections 2 are provided over nearly the whole length of a treated object 12 in the thermal sterilizing tank 1, they are pivotally supported rotatably by a shaft section 4 and rotated by a rotation drive section 6, and hot water and the like from the spray sections 2 is sprayed over the whole periphery of the treated object 12. Uniform treatment can be obtained regardless of the direction or position of the treated object 12. Hot water with proper temperature is fed to a liquid circulation path 10 from a liquid storage section 7 via a pump 8 and a heater exchanger 9, and thermal sterilization is surely performed. The liquid storage section 7 is provided at the bottom section of the thermal sterilizing tank 1, thus hot water and the like can be stored, and its circulation to the liquid circulation path 10 is ensured. |
