An oil-based pigmented ink composition containing a pigment, a polymer and an organic solvent, wherein the organic solvent contains a (poly)alkylene glycol derivative in an amount of 30 to 90% by weight and a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound in an amount of 1 to 30% by weight, each based on the whole weight of the ink composition, and the ink composition has a flash point of at least 63 DEG C.
