Combination of an intramedullary pin and a targering device or/and a percussion device

The combined insertion and fixing instrument (10) is of a slightly curved shape with a straight extension (14) welded to the upper area of its outer surface comprising an oval opening (18) in the knee area and an opening (20) below. A spring supported sleeve can be inserted into the lower end of the instrument (10) and secured with a pin guided through the lower opening (20). For joining the intramedullary nail the sleeve has to be rotated against the forces of the spring and released after positioning.
