摘要 A nuclear magnetic resonance imaging system has a power supply with a regulator for a gradient coil, the gradient coil generating a gradient magnetic field. Circuitry is provided for measuring changes in the flux density of the gradient magnetic field, and forming an actual value of the flux density from those measurements. The actual value is compared to a predetermined value, and the gradient field is regulated so that the flux density corresponds to the predetermined value.
