PURPOSE: A construction method of a concrete block for preventing the scour of a breakwater is provided to prevent the breaking of a breakwater caused by scour by installing concrete blocks on the end of a breakwater and to promote the colonization of marine algae. CONSTITUTION: The construction method of a concrete block for preventing the scour of a breakwater comprises the steps of: completing a filling core unit of a foundation of a breakwater; arranging the seabed adjacent to the foundation of a breakwater; installing concrete blocks(10) on the seabed; placing stone or concrete between the foundation and the concrete block(10), covering up the foundation and completing a main body of the breakwater; and placing ripraps on the front seabed of the concrete block(10).
