PURPOSE: An antenna installation structure of a portable terminal is provided to retreat an antenna when a folder is open, in order to obtain a farther distance between a user's scalp and the antenna and between a folder and a body during a call, thereby reducing an influence of an electromagnetic wave while improving radio sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A folder(102) is combined with an upper section of a body(101) to be open and closed through a hinge coupling. An antenna(103) for transceiving radios is installed on one side of the body(101), while a battery(104) is detachably coupled on a rear side. A lower section of the antenna(103) is inserted into a rotative groove portion formed on top of the body(101), and is rotatively combined by axis pins(105) while rotating at certain angle by a driver(110).
