ANCHOR BLOCK CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING A RETAINING WALL CONSTRUCTED BY REVETMENT BLOCKS FROM THE REAR SOILS OF A RETAINING WALL

PURPOSE: An anchor block is provided to have enough resistance against bending moment by placing a reinforcement unit inward and to reduce the production cost of an anchor block by reducing the usage of concrete. CONSTITUTION: The anchor block contains: a reinforcement unit having many horizontal bars(11), many vertical bars(12) connected to the horizontal bars(11) across the horizontal bars(11), and a curved bar(13) whose both ends are connected to the horizontal bar(11) or the vertical bar(12) provided with protrusions(131); and a body(2) provided with a through hole(21) where a binder(3) passes through to bind up the anchor block and the revetment block. The protrusion(131) of the curved bar(13) is projected toward the backside of the body(2) to heighten the resistance against bending moment added on the anchor block, and the reinforcement unit is composed of reinforcing bars.
