<p>Waste separation installation, comprising a feeder (3) for supplying waste, and an eddy current separator (8) for separating the waste into a fraction of nonferrous metal pieces and a residual fraction. <??>The installation also comprises screening means for screening out fine pieces of waste, in particular pieces of waste smaller than approximately 8-12 millimetres, and passing through remaining pieces of waste, the screening means comprising a star screen (4) having a plurality of drivable rods (5) which are positioned one behind the other and have a plurality of star-shaped discs (6) provided next to one another on each of the rods (5). <??>At least the star screen, the eddy current separator, the feeder (3) and a collector provided beneath the star screen (4) are positioned on a movable bearing surface. <IMAGE></p> |
