Date Apr. 24, 1997The invention relates to compounds of the formula I in which R is C1-C18alkyl, C5-C8cycloalkyl, C7-C9phenylalkyl, -CH2-A-R2 or a group of the formula II, R1 is C1-C18alkyl, C5-C8cycloalkyl, C7-C9phenylalkyl or a group of the formula (II), R2 is C4-C18alkyl, -(CH2)m-COOR5 or a group of the formula III, R3 is hydrogen, C5-C8cycloalkyl or C1-C12alkyl, R4 is C1-C18alkyl, C5-C8cycloalkyl, C7-C9phenylalkyl or a group of the formula II or IV, A is S or SO, E is a direct bond, -CH2-, -CH2-O- or -CH2-NH-, G is -O- or -NR3-, Y is C1-C18alkyl, cyclohexyl, phenyl or alpha- or beta-naphthyl, R5 is C1-C18alkyl, and m is 1 or 2, with the provisos that either at least one of the radicals R and R4 conforms to a group of the formula II or R is CH2-A-R2 and R4 is a group of the formula IV. The compounds are suitable for stabilizing organic material, in particular synthetic and natural rubber vulcanizates.
