PURPOSE: An arc preventing fuse box is provided to prevent damages of the fuse box caused due to the arc discharge occurring when the fuse is attached/detached to/from the socket. CONSTITUTION: An arc preventing fuse box comprises a socket(100) having opposed both ends for insertion of both terminals of a fuse(300); and a magnet(200) arranged around the socket. The magnet forms electromagnetic fields in the direction vertical to the motion direction of electrons so as to alleviate the arc discharge which occurs when the fuse is attached/detached to/from the socket.
