PURPOSE: A method for managing data by using a virtual storage medium of a mobile communication terminal is provided to store a multimedia file to be backed up in a data storage server of a mobile communication network, so that a user can freely access the data storage server to store or download data regardless of a memory capacity. CONSTITUTION: A user accesses a data storage server of a desired mobile communication network, and receives a confirmation of user authentication(S21,S22). A mobile communication terminal reads a list of multimedia files stored in the data storage server to display the read list on a display window, receives data to be uploaded or downloaded, and exchanges the files with the data storage server(S23,S24). The mobile communication terminal decides whether the file exchanging is successful, and completes a transceiving procedure(S25,S26). |
