PURPOSE:To improve the reproducibility of color in a multi-color liquid crystal matrix display device using a color filter by correcting voltage by a voltage drop due to capacitance that the color filter possesses and applying a required voltage to a pixel. CONSTITUTION:When power is turned on by a power source 8, by a selection circuit 12, a common voltage correcting by the voltage drop due to the capacitance of the micro color filters of respective colors from a selection voltage generation circuit 112 for red color, the selection voltage generation circuit 113 for green color and the selection voltage generation circuit 114 for blue color at the falling timing of a latch pulse is selected successively to output to a common driver 13, and by the common driver 13, the inputted common voltage is applied to one of common electrodes forming the color filter of relevant color successively at the falling timing of the latch pulse, and the common electrode is driven synchronized with a segment driver 14, and the line sequentiality scanning is performed by six time division drive in the multi-color liquid crystal matrix display device 1. |
