<p>PURPOSE:To greatly enhance the light utilization factor of a color liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION:Light beams in three primary colors are separated for each direction by means 2 for giving three primary colors for three directions. By a lenticular lens means 6 on the incident light side of a panel, each of the three primary color light beams is directed to each of the three primary color picture elements 7. Through the light beam transmitted through the picture element, each color difference of the directional characteristics is compensated by the lenticular lens means 8 on the outgoing light side of the panel. Thus, the light utilization factor is enhanced about three times.</p> |
