<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a monitor, e.g. an airport plane monitor, for providing optical image information of a desired position on an airport plane or the like through simple operation. CONSTITUTION:The monitor comprises an image pickup unit 4, an image display 12, a unit 3 for allowing a user to input the position of a target while pointing the display 2 of airport plane radar by means of a cursor, a target dimension setter 5, a computor 6 for calculating the directive angle of the image pickup unit 4, the cubic distance upto the target, and an optimal zooming amount, a gimbal 7 for holding and directing the image pickup unit 4, a ginbal controller 8, a zoom lens 9 for the image pickup unit 4, a zooming amount controller 10, and a focal point controller 11.</p> |
