<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the occupying area of signal lines and to increase an opening ratio by arranging respective signal lines so as to exist along the cut away corner parts of plural pixels and the ridges of respective images. CONSTITUTION:The plural pixels RO, BO and GO from which the corner parts are removed are arranged by an arrangement method of a triangle type (the cutting-off of only one corner part is also allowable). The signal lines SL1, SL2 are so arranged as to exist along the cut away corner parts of the respective pixels RO, BO and GO and the ridges of the respective pixels RO, BO and GO. The signal lines SL1, SL2 which are ought to be formed along the ridges of the pixels RO, BO and GO are, therefore, not arranged, while these lines are bent perpendicularly, along the upper sides and lower sides of the pixels, but arranged along the ridges of the cut away parts of the square parts of the pixels and the ridges of the pixels. The signal lines are arranged by having a certain angle with the gap regions K1, K2 and K3 existing on the upper sides and lower sides of the pixels and, therefore, the total area occupied by the signal line SL1, SL2 is drastically decreased.</p> |
