摘要 FIELD: industrial inorganic synthesis. ^ SUBSTANCE: ammonia is obtained from nitrogen- and hydrogen-containing synthesis gas on granular catalyst in at least one reactor at pressure between 50 and 300 bar and temperature between 100 and 600. Product mixture containing NH3 vapors is discharged from reactor cooled in order to condense ammonia, which is separated, whereas gas, to which fresh synthesis gas is admixed, is returned into reactor as synthesis gas and unreacted synthesis gas is passed through first catalyst bed containing no cooling pipes and then, as partially reacted synthesis gas with 5-20 vol % NH3, it is passed through heat exchanger as heating liquid. Partially reacted synthesis gas is passed through at least one next catalyst bed incorporating multiple cooling pipes, whilst unreacted synthesis gas is passed as cooling gas through cooling pipes of the next catalyst bed and, when it acquires temperature 300-500, it is transferred to the first catalyst bed, said synthesis gas passing through cooling pipes and next catalyst bed in a direct flow mode. ^ EFFECT: enabled control of synthesis gas temperature when passing through several catalyst beds to increase concentration of ammonia in reactor-leaving mixture. ^ 5 cl, 3 dwg, 2 tbl
