PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to improve luminance and efficiency of the plasma display panel by generating a strong field at the center of a discharge cell using metal electrodes when discharge occurs and extending discharge to the edge of the discharge cell using supplementary metal electrodes. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel includes transparent electrodes(114A,116A) arranged at a predetermined interval, metal electrodes(114B,116B) respectively form at the transparent electrodes, and supplementary metal electrodes(114C,116C) formed at the transparent electrodes between the ends of the transparent electrodes and the metal electrodes, respectively. The metal electrodes are formed at the regions between the opposite sides of the transparent electrodes and the centers of the transparent electrodes. The supplementary metal electrodes are arranged in parallel. |
