PURPOSE: A motor control device for a motor driven reel having a noise reducing varistor is provided to prevent the external equipments which are arranged around the motor driven reel from getting troubled because of the noise generated from the motor driven reel. CONSTITUTION: The motor control device for a motor driven reel, which controls a motor(12) for rotating a spool mounted on the reel body, includes: a motor controller, arranged in the reel body and outputting a driving signal to the motor(12); a motor driving unit, connected with the motor(12) and the motor controller so as to drive the motor(12) according to the driving signal which is output from the motor controller; and a noise reducing element(66), arranged on at least one side of the motor and the motor driving unit and reducing the noise of the motor(12).
