PURPOSE: To provide a method for preparing a catalytic filter of an air cleaner and a catalytic filter prepared by the method, which are able to maximize a surface area of the filter and improve a photocatalytic reaction efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (a) forming cutting lines at regular intervals on the surface of a thin film sheet made of electroconductive materials, the cutting lines being crossed one another; (b) coating titanium dioxide on the surface of the cutting lines formed thin film sheet; (c) cutting the coated thin film sheet at regular widths and pulling it in a longitudinal direction to form a packing mesh having a honeycomb shape; and (d) packing the packing mesh with a frame that has a regular shape to make a side portion of the packing mesh toward an air flow direction.
