PURPOSE: A device and method for applying oil to a cylinder block is provided to improve work efficiency by uniformly injecting the oil, and to prevent the oil from being scattered. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of oil applying units(100) have an oil distributing plate to apply oil to the inside of a cylinder block(A). An oil distributor(200) distributes the oil to the oil applying units. A motor(300) rotates the oil distributing plate. An up/down cylinder(400) moves the oil applying units up and down. A forward/backward unit(500) moves the oil applying units forward and backward.
