FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, plastic working of metals, namely manufacture of tools used for shaping and strengthening internal threads by plastic deforming. ^ SUBSTANCE: screw tap-wave guide includes hydraulic mechanic-impulse generator for creating periodic dynamic load of stem by means of striker mounted in housing of generator; spring for tightening deforming members; return spring for returning screw tap body to initial position after each striking impulse. ^ EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities at knurling threads and profiles, increased depth of strengthening, enhanced efficiency and quality of working. ^ 4 dwg |
