FIELD: products of chemical industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to products of chemical industry in particular, to the methods of household and industrial sewage purification. The method of clearing of the aeration tank from foamings provides for removal of the foamings by oxyethanol in an amount of 0.003 % from productivity of an installation, which is fed by gravity in the sewage pipeline in each 4 hours of operation of the installation.
