FIELD: medicine, pediatrics, peptides, pharmacy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a medicinal agent and a method for treatment of neurological diseases in children from nurse age to 7 years. Invention proposes applying heptapeptide semax of the formula: Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro in children of youngest age and a pharmaceutical composition of the preparation containing as an active substance heptapeptide semax of the formula: Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro in the dose 0.1 g/l, and purified water. This preparation is in first recommended for treatment of disorders in nervous system in children of youngest age.
