PURPOSE: A piston mechanism is provided to reduce the friction loss by reducing side force on a piston through the rolling movement at an expansion stroke of the piston. CONSTITUTION: A rolling movement member(10) is slid by penetrating inner and outer sides of a piston body and contacted to the wall of a cylinder bore by rolling. A cam(16) is formed in the girth of a connecting rod to be slid with the rolling movement member. A stroke of a piston is performed by rolling against the wall of the cylinder bore. Thereby, the friction loss between the piston and the cylinder bore is minimized. Therefore, the loss of power is prevented and the fuel efficiency is improved.
