FIELD: machine engineering, possibly grinding and polishing parts. ^ SUBSTANCE: method is realized by means of petal type wheel having body and sleeve mounted on spindle and clamps in the form of two clamping members arranged mutually opposite. One clamp is rigidly joined with body, other clamp is rigidly joined with sleeve. Packs of petals of abrasive cloth are arranged in radial grooves of clamping members. Sleeve is made with possibility of axial motion relative to spindle; radial grooves of clamping members are inclined by acute angle relative to lengthwise axis of wheel. Clamping members are secured to sleeve and to body according to condition of forming common radial grooves in order to provide possibility for V-shaped turning of petal pack in their cross section. ^ EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities, increased rigidity of petals in radial direction, enhanced efficiency and quality of working. ^ 4 cl, 5 dwg, 1 ex |
