PURPOSE: A foundation structure of a structure is provided to improve the bearing capacity of the ground to the upper structure, and to restrict subsidence of the ground by extending the vertical reinforcing member to the ground. CONSTITUTION: A foundation slab(21) of a structure(20) is supported or laid under the ground. A vertical reinforcing member(30) is formed in a lower part(22) of the foundation slab, and extended to the ground. The vertical reinforcing member is extended from the edge of the foundation slab to the ground, and formed corresponding to the shape of the lower part of the foundation slab. The vertical reinforcing member is composed of a side symmetrical with the center of the lower part of the foundation slab, and formed of a flat member.
