FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves recording initial reflex tonus of right arm and forearm muscles with following reflex tonus of right forearm in flexing end extending the left hand being recorded. Next, initial reflex tonus of left arm and forearm muscles with following reflex tonus of right forearm in flexing end extending the right hand being recorded. Percent ratio of reflex tonus of muscles of forearms to initial reflex tonus is calculated. Variations of the value under functional tests are interpreted in terms of functional coupling of the muscles. ^ EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in detecting reduced reflex tonus. ^ 3 tbl |
