FIELD: organic chemistry, polymers, chemical technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for preparing structuring agent for polyguanidine and to structuring agent for polyguanidine that can be used in chemistry of polymers and as disinfectant for disinfecting different objects and subjects. Method for preparing structuring agent for polyguanidine involves interaction of different derivatives of polyguanidine with epichlorohydrin in the equimolar ratio at temperature 40-600C in mass or an aqueous solution. Structuring agent for polyguanidine is represented by the following structural formulas: ^ ^ wherein A is Cl-, HCOO-; R is hydrogen atom (H), Alk, AlkAr; x = 4, 6, 12; n = 4-30; or ^ ^ wherein A is Cl-, HCOO-; R is hydrogen atom (H), Alk, AlkAr; x = 4, 6, 12; n = 4-30; or ^ wherein A is Cl-, HCOO-; n = 15-30; or ^ ^ wherein A is Cl-, HCOO-; n = 15-30; or ^ ^ wherein A is Cl-, HCOO-; R is hydrogen atom (H), Alk, AlkAr; n = 4-30; or ^ ^ wherein A is Cl-, HCOO-; R is hydrogen atom (H), Alk, AlkAr; x = 4, 6, 12; n = 4-30; or ^ ^ wherein A is Cl-, HCOO-; n = 15-30; or ^ ^ wherein A is Cl-, HCOO-; n = 15-30.
