PURPOSE: An optical filter for optical transmission is provided to fix a filter holder on a first collimator stably by enlarging a contact area of the filter holder and a first glass tube, as compared with a conventional device. CONSTITUTION: An optical filter for optical transmission includes an outer tube, a first collimator(110), a second collimator(120), a filter(130), and a filter holder(140). The first collimator is arranged in the outer tube and includes a first ferrule(113) receiving an input optical fiber, a first green lens(114) passing an incident optical signal parallelly, and a first tube(116) accepting the first ferrule and the first green lens. The second collimator includes a second ferrule(122) receiving an output optical fiber, a second green lens(123) passing a parallel incident optical signal, and a second tube(125) accepting the second ferrule and the second green lens. The filter reflects optical signal except for the optical signal having a predetermined component. The filter holder is arranged in the first collimator, and more particularly, is inserted to the first tube.
