PURPOSE: To provide a tap hole reinforcement of steel manufacturing vessel, which improves quality of molten steel by suppressing generation of vortex in tap hole during tapping from the steel manufacturing vessel, thereby reducing outflow of slag. CONSTITUTION: The tap hole reinforcement(25) of steel manufacturing vessel is characterized in that it is formed as a gas generating object comprising 75 to 85 wt.% of magnesia powder and 15 to 25 wt.% of additive and coated around a tap hole(23) of the steel manufacturing vessel(21), wherein the gas generating object is formed of 20 to 30 wt.% of magnesium carbonate that is an expansible material, and wherein the expansible material is consisted of reactive materials such as carbon, paper material, wood material, dolomite and burnt dolomite.
